SAA Laser Institute FAQ
School-wide answers, kept to what is published.
These questions come from the live school FAQ. They cover campus life, Arizona laser-technician entry, and the written $750 refund windows. Course-specific hours, devices, and prices live on each class page. Contact-process questions live on Contact.
Getting started
Who can enroll, how large the room is, and how to visit.
Do you have to be an aesthetician, or have prior schooling, to become a laser technician in Arizona?
The school FAQ currently says that in Arizona, no prior schooling is required to become a laser technician. That statement is about Arizona laser-technician entry. It does not describe injectables eligibility, other states, or every SAA class. Share your license and jurisdiction with admissions before you pay a deposit.
How many students are in each class?
The school FAQ says SAA keeps classes small so every student has enough hands-on practice, and currently allows a maximum of six students per class.
Can I tour the campus near Tempe?
Yes. The school FAQ asks you to email info@saainstitute.com to schedule a tour and observe an hour of an upcoming class. Office hours are not published on the live site.
Class day
Clock, room, dress, and what to bring.
What is the typical format of classes?
The school FAQ describes a typical daytime clock of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the first two days in the classroom only, then hands-on work in the treatment room, and a two-day break after day nine. Evening, hybrid, Kansas, and shorter aesthetic classes use different schedules — read the class page you are considering.
Where are classes held?
In the SAA classroom at 1061 N. Dobson Rd., Suite 118, Mesa, AZ 85201 — 1 mile from Tempe, off the 202. Older product pages sometimes showed Suite 107; the confirmed campus suite is 118.
What is the dress code?
The school FAQ requires all black if you wear street clothes. Scrubs of any color are acceptable. Crop tops and torn clothing are not. Students in the 11-, 15-, and 17-day tracks are provided a T-shirt if they want to wear it; additional shirts are available for purchase. Confirm the policy still matches your dates.
What do I need to bring to class?
The school FAQ says nothing: SAA provides learning materials. Come comfortable and ready to learn, with hair up and closed-toed shoes.
Investment
Third-party financing and the published refund windows.
Do you offer financing?
The school FAQ says SAA works with third-party companies for laser training classes. The live site currently names PayPal Credit and Coaching Financing. Those partners set their own terms. This page does not publish APR, approval rules, or a promise that every class is eligible.
Review SAA laser school financingWhat is the refund policy?
The school FAQ is written around a $750 deposit. That deposit is fully refundable and transferable to a later start month if you cancel more than eight weeks before the course start date; canceling within eight weeks makes the deposit nonrefundable. Remaining tuition is fully refundable if you cancel more than two weeks before the start date; canceling within two weeks adds a $750 fee, with the remainder still refundable. If you cancel after the course has started but before finishing, the refund is prorated based on services already provided, up to 50% of the course price, and you may attend a later start date within two months for a $750 fee. Some class listings use a different deposit amount — ask admissions how these windows apply to the class you select. Email info@saainstitute.com with remaining questions, and ask for the enrollment agreement that matches your dates.
